With clickbooq, it's easy to embed videos onto a Page or within a Gallery.
First, upload your video to a video sharing service – we currently support either YouTube.com and Vimeo.com.
There are two ways to embed videos into your clickbooq website:
Option 1. Embedding videos onto a Page
Once your video has been uploaded to a sharing service, you are ready to embed the video into your website.
1. First, create a new Page if you do not already have one ready. Then, click and drag the Video element onto your Page to place it on the Page.
2. Once the Video Element has been placed on the Page, click the gear icon the reveal the Video Element settings:
Here, you can enter the URL to your video at YouTube or Vimeo and it will embed the video on your Page.
2a. Vimeo: Finding your video URL
Open your video on Vimeo.com. Copy the URL that appears in your browser window URL field:
2b. YouTube: Finding your video URL
To find your Share link on YouTube, click the share icon for your video and copy the provided link:
Tip: Vimeo users can control what is displayed at the end of a video only if they are a Vimeo Plus/Pro user, by customizing the 'outro' settings. See: https://vimeo.com/help/faq/sharing-videos/embedding-videos#how-do-i-customize-the-embedded-plus-and-pro-player
Unfortunately, it is not possible to prevent related videos from being displayed in Youtube videos.
3. Paste the link you copied into the URL field. When you are finished entering the video URL, click the Save button:
4. After you have finished making changes to your Page, click the Save Changes button for the Page itself:
Your video will now be displayed on your website.
Option 2. Embedding videos into a Gallery
You can also embed a video within a Gallery of images. Videos can be viewed alongside images in the same Gallery.
To embed a video within a Gallery, you must first upload an image to your Gallery that will represent the video in thumbnail form.
The image you upload will be used as the thumbnail image in your Gallery view, but when it is accessed, your visitor will be presented with the video you embed.
1. Double-click the thumbnail image to access the Image Info panel:
2. Now, enter your video's Share URL into the bottom field. Click Save when you are finished.
Your video will now be displayed within the Gallery on your website.
Note: Click-to-advance may not work properly on embedded videos within Galleries if the video service's playback functionality overlaps with the built-in click-to-advance feature. To circumvent this, be sure that your Gallery has a toolbar enabled so viewers can navigate your Gallery using previous/next buttons. Visitors can also use their keyboard arrows to advance.
