Displaying Animated GIFs or Cinemagraphs on your Website

We now support Animated GIFs (aka Cinemagraphs) in your website galleries and pages in all sizes of your images.

Previously, animated GIF support was limited to being shown only with the Large/Full version of your image and would not animate in the small and large thumbnail sizes.

Note: If you have animated GIF images that were uploaded previous to February 2019 and would like to also have animated Thumbnail images, you will need to re-upload/replace those images so they can be reprocessed.

How to upload animated GIF

When uploading an animated GIF to a gallery, the uploader will automatically detect that an animated GIF is present and resize the image to the required sizes for your website, maintaining the animation as well as optimizing it for those sizes. Anywhere the image is displayed will also display it in animated format.
